Vikings Go Berzerk at Yggdrasil Gaming Soon
For Vikings Go Berzerk, Yggdrasil Gaming has prepared us a slot which they consider a sequel for another title that they launched in 2015, called Vikings Go Wild.
It proved to be quite popular, with its sea snake fighting Viking warriors, and now they’re making a comeback, only here they face beautiful Sirens. The idea seems to be largely the same one, and the developer has improved some things, while keeping others.
For its features, there are some features which feel normal, like the wilds, scatters and free spins, but there will also be meters to fill up, a berserk mode and even Ragnarok to trigger. The slot is announced to have 25 lines/5 reels.
What We Love
The design in Vikings Go Berzerk has been improved, but the location of the action is in the same spot, aboard a longboat. The left side of the screen has the metal head of a dragon for one end of the boat, while the right side has a metal made tail.
The reels are in the middle, and they’re relatively tall, at four symbols each. The graphics are pretty, if you can use that word when it comes to Viking warriors. The symbol list gets you four Viking characters, a blonde Siren, plus four types of coins.
The Wild Logo is not missing from this game, and it can come along through a few different methods. The usual way, of just landing a wild symbol on the reels, is still the most often way you will see it appear.
Its usefulness depends on the position on which it lands on the reels, since it has to be on the same active line as the regular symbols that are forming the combo.
With the Siren scatter in enough positions, you can get access to the free spins, a feature where the Viking characters can be transformed into wilds. Each of them fights the Siren, and if successful they are transformed into wilds.
Another way to get the free spins is with help from the four meters, shaped as shields and placed on the side of the longboat, at the bottom. These are filled when you have Viking symbols in combinations. When they’re filled, there are 7 free spins offered, with that Viking always transforming into a wild.
What We Do Not Like
I liked everything I saw so far in this game. We’ll see soon enough if it will be better than the first slot of the series.
If you loved Vikings Go Wild, then you have every reason to play this slot as well, especially since they’ve mentioned that they improved the features.
